Barbara Rovere is an independent consultant in the field of public relations and corporate social responsibility. As a permanent collaborator of the non-governmental organization Ekvilib institute, she manages public relations and relations with the business community on the project “Family Friendly Enterprise” certificate in the Slovenian business environment.
She was engaged by the Slovenian National Chamber of Commerce as expert on the project “CSR – Code to Smart Reality for SMEs” (introducing SMEs to CSR) in 2007. She was Programming Director of the annual national Trends in CSR Conferences in 2006 and 2007. Until the Fall 2008 she will manage public relations activities for a PROGRESS project “Diversity is the Treasure of Society” (awareness-raising on social discrimination issues). She is a lecturer at the London School of Public Relations in Slovenia and in Croatia and co-author of the first Slovenian book on Lobbying and Public Relations “Lobbying is Hot” (2006).
Barbara Žaucer Šefman holds a Master’s degree in European Politics and Administration from the College of Europe (2001) and a Bachellor’s degree in International Relations and German Language and Literature from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA.
She is Project Manager of the Central, East and South European CSR School project, responsible for overall management and quality of the project. She will participate in developing the CSR School curriculum and lecture at the SCR School. She will be Programming Director of the Trends in CSR 2008 conference.
